Text Box: A private, peaceful 3 bedroom self catering cottage with charming rural views overlooking the vineyard is available for hire. The cottage is set on the edge of Pukeora Estate alongside a gum forest which adjoins Pukeora pine forest. The cottage has been converted from the original TB sanatorium isolation ward built circa 1918. Rooms/Features: • 2 x Double bedroom (one with extra single bed), • 1 x Twin Bedrooms, • Open plan lounge & kitchen with cosy Kent fire, television, • Fully equiped kitchen with stove, fridge-freezer, microwave, pots/pans, crockery, cutlery etc. • 1 Bathroom with bath/shower and toilet, • Washhouse, • Old fashioned verandah with peaceful rural views overlooking the vineyard, river and beyond, • Character wooden floors throughout, • Ample parking beside cottage. Cost ($NZ, inclusive GST) The cottage can either be hired as a self-catering cottage or on a bed and breakfast basis. Self-catering: (to 30.6.2007) The cost is $500/week or $175/night. (25% extra @ Christmas, New Year & Easter) Bed and Breakfast: (to 30.6.2007) The cost is $110 per night for first double/twin, then $35 for each extra person. (Price for children $25 per night). General Notes All Bed linen and towels are supplied in the cottage. Electric blankets are provided on all beds. The cottage is 3 minutes walk to the convention venue but far enough away to be private and tranquil.
