San Hill Pinot Gris 2008, 750ml

A dry style of wine showing lemony notes on the nose leading to crisp lemony fruit and minerally flavours with a long lingering finish. (Sugar < 1 g/L)

Crafted in our boutique winery from our hand picked grapes, the grapes were pressed, then the juice was cold settled before fermentation (55% barrel fermented in seasoned oak). The wine was aged on lees with 3 months stirring.

The estate grown grapes come from from sun baked terraced slopes of a north facing basin with free draining limestone soils over a clay sublayer. With an elevation up to 250m and a latitude of 40^º, they reflect our unique local terrior.

Cellar up to 3 years.   Alc 13.0% Vol

Contains preservative 220 (sulphur dioxide).
