San Hill Chardonnay 2006, 750ml

A classic style of dry chardonnay showing hints of vanilla with citrus fruit on the nose followed by crisp citrus flavours with a long finish.

Crafted in our boutique winery from our hand picked grapes, crushed, soaked on skins overnight, pressd, then cold settled, fermented in stainless teel tanks with partial malolactic fermentation, with 40% aged 6 months in French oak barriques.

The estate grown grapes come from from sun baked terraced slopes of a north facing basin with free draining limestone soils over a clay sublayer. With an elevation up to 250m and a latitude of 40^º, they reflect our unique local terrior.
